Do Not Fall Into The Trap - 2 Wedding
Dresses?
I was talking to a friend the other day about how I think when you’re
first engaged, you shouldn’t be allowed to make any wedding
purchases/decisions for the first 2 months. Sure, you could research your
little heart out, but no deposits, no purchases, nothing permanent!
Looking back, I made some decisions and purchases for our wedding before I
had a clear idea of what I wanted, and I came to regret them. My
first dress is
an example of this, so I wrote this post with the hope that it may help
someone else avoid becoming a two-dress bride/regret buying the “wrong”
dress.

Glee - TV Showtunes?
The reality is – TV affects the music industry. Shows like Grey’s
Anatomy, American Idol can rocket artists and songs into the charts. Who
knew there were so many closet musical fans out there? Glee did. If you
haven’t watched this campy TV show – there really isn’t much of a plot and
forget about cliff hangers.

A Photobooth Wedding Reception
Photo Booths have become an exciting addition to recent
wedding receptions in the New England area. The modern concept of photo
booth with a curtain, screen or other material covering the background and
entrance originated in 1925 but became wildly popular in the 50's & 60's.
Today the vast majority of photo booths are digital and in color,
although black & white is still offered.

Custom Lighting Designs
At Your Wedding
Create a unique and unforgettable moment
as you take the dance floor for your first dance. Custom
up-lighting also available to transform your entire wedding venue.
So, you might be questioning why one DJ
company charges only $500 for event lighting and another DJ or
Lighting Designer is charging $1000-$2500. First off - it's not
the same thing.
Many of these low-end lighting DJs are using low output LED fixtures
that can not be seen unless the room is completely black. You
will notice in the photo above that you can see vivid color from the
lights AND you can see guest faces all illuminated.
There is a difference between a single
color static uplight (stays the same color throughout the night) and
wirelessly controlled DMX lighting that can be changed based on the
scene that you want to set (Red for dinner, Teal for introductions,
and even SOUND ACTIVATED to go to the beat of the music for dancing).
When you see lighting at a reception on TV
on shows like Platinum Weddings or My Fair Wedding - their lighting
budget is somewhere between $5,000 and $20,000. Yes, that's just
for lighting. At the DJ Network, we have lighting packages that
start around $1,000 and offer full venue lighting with wireless
control and high output fixtures to truly transform your venue.
