Setting The Tone Of Your Event With Background Music Choices

So exactly who wants to hear 2 hours of Kenny G or instrumental jazz fusion at their wedding for social hour and dinner? Sure, there are those that want to set that tone, but you don't have to play a "standard mix of jazz favorites" at your wedding.

Imagine how different things would feel at your wedding if during social hour, you played a mix of Jimmy Buffett, Shaggy, Bob Marley and Jack Johnson? What about some of those long lost hits of the 80's - Katrina and the Waves, Eurythmics - Sweet Dreams, Modern English - I Melt With You, Prince - Kiss.

What about an hour of Spanish guitar music? Or a mix of Italian "mob hits" classics such as Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra? How about set more of a piano bar sing along style feel to social hour? Play KT Tunstall - Black Horse and The Cherry Tree, Stevie Wonder - Boogie On Reggae Woman, Uncle Cracker - Follow Me, Billy Joel - Piano Man and Elton John - Tiny Dancer.

The fact is - every event is different and Kenny G's greatest hits is not always the appropriate answer for your event. I've had clients that were big Beatles fans or loved acoustic alternative rock - you name it and we can work with your interest and create the perfect feel to the start of your event.
